The position involves executing the business plan actions aligned with the strategy to achieve targets of customer opportunities. It includes leading and developing a team to offer technical solutions and investigation for customer opportunities, providing technical support activities and investigation in pre-sale and after-sale, and cooperating with marketing, production, and quality control to resolve customer complaints. Additionally, it involves cooperating with business development, sales, and global development teams on new products and applications development, organizing training/seminar activities to help customers understand PM processes/products and new technologies, and managing a team of technical development specialists, senior engineers, engineers, assistant engineers, and technicians.
The role requires excellent project management skills, vast experience in product and process development projects, significant knowledge in materials and process, and magnetic applications. It also demands excellent managerial and communication skills, both oral and written, self-driven and result-oriented problem-solving capabilities, the ability to cooperate with different functions and team players, and fluency in English.
The job involves mobility with short notice for traveling worldwide and working in both office, lab, and off-site environments.
The external communication can be written or spoken but must be a more frequent part of the job and have a certain complexity. Internal communication includes segment business development managers and all sales & marketing organizations. External communication includes distributors, customers in all segments, end users, and equipment & service suppliers.
While working for Höganäs, pertinent laws should always be followed. Internal directives and rules concerning occupational health, safety, and environment must be followed for own and colleagues’ sake, but also that required permits are not put at jeopardy.
