About the Position
Provide technical support and technical solutions related to powder metallurgy products for customers, sales department, and end-users.
Responsible for PMT related technical investigation and project development activities, including planning, testing, data analysis, and reports.
Initiate and implement customer technical support, technical research, and other related tasks, then provide the results to the development department to serve product and application development.
Provide technical support for the development and quality improvement of manufacturing processes of production.
Support in new products launching and follow-up of customer trials.
Perform competitor products benchmarking test.
Participate in technical seminars and on-site training for customer and end users.
Participate in technical marketing, conference, exhibitions, and proofing marketing technical materials.
Support the lab and equipment management and improve working process, participate in the safety management in all workplaces.
Describe qualifications/training and experience required for the job.
Bachelor's degree or above in materials science, mechanical engineering, or related. Have more than five years of working experience in powder metallurgy and related materials industry.
Excellent project management skills and vast experience on product and process development projects.
Good English skill in Writing, Reading, listening, and talk.
Essential knowledge about products and process.
Competence of organizing & executing experiment and drafting technical reports.
Good presentation and interpretation skill.
Good communication skill and teamwork.
Special conditions like significant physical demands (e.g. mobility, manual handling, personal protective equipment requirements etc). General working environment (e.g. office, production, off site etc).
Mobility required with short notice for travelling.
Working environment both office, lab, and off site.
The external communication can be written or spoken but must be a more frequent part of the job and have a certain complexity.
Internal: All our different sales & marketing organizations.
External: Distributors, Customers in all segments, End user, Equipment & service suppliers.
While working for Höganäs pertinent laws should always be followed. Internal directives and rules concerning occupational health, safety, and environment must be followed for own and colleagues' sake but also that required permits are not put at jeopardy.
