Post Trade

Post Trade is responsible for maintaining the orderly, fair and expeditious clearing and settlement arrangements for the securities, on exchange derivatives and OTC derivatives markets. Depository & Participant Services provides central securities depository, custody and participant services of stocks and structured products. The team also provides hotline and training services to investors and clearing participants.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Carry out daily depository and vault operations in accordance with established rules, procedures and policies of the clearing houses
2. Daily operations include but not limited to, physical certificates handling, provide counter service, daily reconciliation, generating MIS reports for management's review
3. Propose appropriate operational flow changes to enhance the day-to-day operational efficiency
4. Support various automation and process reengineering initiatives to eliminate manual and redundant tasks
5. Undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior
6. Identify exceptional cases / contingency situations and escalate to management

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines
• Knowledge of clearing / settlement / nominees/custodial operations in Hong Kong and Global markets
• At least 2-3 years' of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organization
• Demonstrated proactivity, adaptability, innovation, and ability to manage multiple tasks; excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Intellectual curiosity to investigate underlying causes and implications of issues
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese Word Processing
• Proficiency in Macros and VBA is an advantage
