In this position, you are part of the European sales team in the Grid Integration business area and are responsible for the sales strategy for our E-Mobility portfolio in the German market. You accompany customer projects from the first idea to the order placement and work closely with internal teams and adjacent markets. Your market knowledge and your sense of customer needs make you a central driver for sustainable mobility solutions. The position has a high visibility within the German Hitachi Energy organization and therefore offers excellent development opportunities.

What you can achieve:

  • Development, planning, and implementation of local sales strategies for the E-Mobility portfolio in the German market
  • Support of the sales teams in adjacent markets
  • You build an industry-specific network, maintain close customer communication, identify projects early, and develop them together with our customer and potential partners
  • You conduct negotiations with customers or partners, are responsible for technical and commercial clarifications, and win projects for our company
  • You coordinate market analyses, evaluate customer needs, market conditions, and competitive data and create corresponding forecasts and plans
  • You build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain them
  • Internally, you cooperate with our area sales to actively work on the market, supported by our Bid & Proposal Team and the Center of Competence for E-Mobility in the development of technical solutions and offers

What you bring:

  • You have a completed degree, preferably in electrical engineering, economics, or industrial engineering
  • You have 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the E-Mobility environment
  • You have technical understanding in the field of energy technology and charging infrastructure
  • Strong affinity to commercial questions (more value for customers, business model, etc.)
  • You speak German and English fluently
  • You are distinguished by pronounced negotiation skills and enjoy interacting with different stakeholders
  • Travel readiness within Germany
