Service Truck Driver

HireUp is seeking an experienced Service Truck Driver for our client in Corcoran, CA. This is an opportunity with a pay rate of $22-$26/hour depending on experience.

Job Summary: Refuel, lubricate, and perform daily maintenance on agricultural equipment and heavy machinery. This role ensures all field equipment and irrigation pumps are serviced on schedule and maintained in proper working order.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Perform oil and filter changes and other preventative maintenance on schedule.
• Refuel and lubricate agricultural equipment and heavy machinery as necessary.
• Record fuel, oil, and other consumables used on a handheld computer.
• Perform basic repairs on trucks and field equipment.
• Transport, set up, and remove irrigation pumps on field sites as needed.
• Maintain the service truck and other equipment in clean and proper working condition.
• Report unsafe hazards on equipment and fuel storage facilities.
• Adhere to all company, DOT, and CAL-OSHA regulations.
• Actively participate in the company's safety program and follow supervisor directions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a current valid California Class "A" Driver License, including HazMat, Air Brake, and Tanker endorsements.
• 1 year of driving experience required.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and operation is preferred.
• Being bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
• Must be observant, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Required to frequently sit, bend at the waist, and twist at the neck/waist.
• Must be able to repetitively use hands for simple/power grasping and reach above/below shoulders.
• Must be able to pull fuel hoses up to 100ft and climb on/off equipment and irrigation pumps.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
