Financial Sales Representative (FSR)

Hire Up staffing is seeking a Financial Sales Representative (FSR) to start asap in Encino CA. The Financial Sales Representative (FSR) is responsible for selling the bank's products and services to both existing clients and new prospects. This role focuses on opening new accounts, building strong customer relationships, identifying financial needs, and achieving individual and branch sales goals. The FSR supports the Business Financial Center by promoting cross-selling opportunities and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain new personal and business accounts according to bank policies and procedures
  • Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services
  • Sell and cross-sell bank products such as checking accounts, savings accounts, and financial services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and cross-sales goals for the branch
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize systems such as ChexSystems and OFAC when opening new accounts
  • Maintain accurate Customer Identification Program (CIP) documentation
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product knowledge sessions
  • Assist with branch growth initiatives and customer retention strategies
  • Participate in community and networking activities to generate new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2-5 year of banking or financial institution experience, preferably in new accounts or sales
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to present financial products and services clearly to customers
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Previous new accounts or retail banking sales experience
  • Experience meeting sales and cross-selling goals
  • Knowledge of banking compliance regulations and account opening procedures

Compensation

  • Typical hourly range: $20 – $24 per hour, depending on experience.
