Training Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs for campus hires who will work on background verification processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BPO operations, proven expertise in instructional design, and the ability to create interactive, Gen Z-friendly learning experiences. This role also involves designing and conducting assessments for the existing workforce to ensure continuous skill development and compliance.
The manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently. This role provides leadership, coaching, and administrative oversight to maintain a productive, positive, and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze training needs through interviews, data review, and collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Design clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with business outcomes.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness; recommend improvements based on data.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure all content is accessible, inclusive, and compliant with organizational style guidelines.
- Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure training alignment.
- Maintain and update training content housed in LMS platforms; support LMS administration as needed.
- Manage a team of operations trainers, coordinating training sessions, monitoring performance, and communicating objectives as needed

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory role preferred
- Experience in working with cross functional teams, building alignment and collaboration.
- Must display a helpful demeanor, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and demonstrate the ability to be a contributing team member in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Ability to adapt to last minute instructions with little-to-no notice.
- Has general professional knowledge or possesses specialized vocational/technical skills for a variety of technical or administrative policies and procedures.
- Assignments are specialized in nature and usually require originality where the individual relies on experience and judgment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and developing training in corporate, academic, or technical environments.
- Strong understanding of adult-learning theory, ability to adapt methods to meet the needs of various generations.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools.
- Working knowledge of the FCRA.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience to include working in a training function and managing trainers, preferably in a global environment
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Experience managing training BPO or similar with 500+ employees; managing large training batches
Work Environment:
- May require a mix of remote and in-office work depending on business needs, including travel
- Requires the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team needs
