What will I do?

  • Responsibility for the operational areas Mountain Hub Social Dining & Terrace, Nightflight Bar & Terrace, Room Service, Thai Lounge as well as the C&E Service
  • Responsibility for offer, pricing as well as planning and implementation of restaurant, bar, promotion and catering offers
  • Ensuring good cooperation and regular exchange of information with all departments as well as the Director of Food & Drinks
  • Planning of food promotions and seasonal offers to secure and expand market leadership
  • Active participation through menu engineering in the implementation of new food and drink offers as well as regular review of existing offer to guest needs
  • Responsibility for compliance with rules on waste disposal and waste separation in the entire F&B area
  • Control of monthly inventories and creation of evaluations
  • Utilization of Hilton purchasing agreement with the goal: "Best quality at the lowest price"
  • Applying Hilton standards in all activities and being a role model for their implementation in everyday life
  • Active participation in Hilton initiatives
  • Observing and implementing changes in Hilton brand standards, guidelines and restrictions
  • Actively informing about new trends and developments in the hotel and food industry as well as striving for the highest standards and efficiency
  • Observing hotel performance evaluations (e.g. Qualtrics), analyzing the results, taking corrective measures and continuously striving for improvement
  • Formulating action plans to ensure excellent results
  • Active participation in the operational day-to-day business to ensure smooth operation of the entire Food & Beverage operation, coupled with the willingness to work flexible shifts
  • Supervising the weekly creation of duty schedules as well as vacation planning taking into account business volume and legal requirements
  • Leading regular F&B leadership communication meetings
  • Setting clear SMART goals for the department and communicating these to all relevant employees

What do you bring with you?

  • Completed training or degree in hospitality, gastronomy or comparable qualification
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in a senior position in the food and beverage sector, ideally in an international hotel environment
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills as well as experience in managing staff
  • High service orientation and passion for excellent guest service
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting, cost control and inventory management
  • Secure handling of duty scheduling and vacation planning taking into account legal requirements
  • Analytical thinking and ability to evaluate performance metrics and derive measures
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts
  • Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
  • Secure handling of MS Office and ideally experience with hotel management systems
  • Proactive, solution-oriented working style and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
