Key responsibilities include:
Commercial Performance: Develop F&D business strategy plan and manage daily F&D operations effectively to deliver strong commercial performance. Review and analyze departmental results - including sales, costs, profit margins, covers, and guest satisfaction - and implement action plans to improve performance.
Exceptional Guest Experiences: Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining consistently high service standards and product knowledge throughout the entire F&D operations team. Make sure that food allergies, dietary requirements, and guest modifications are treated with absolute seriousness. Review and act on guest feedback, taking prompt action to resolve guest complaints and improve guest loyalty.
Great Working Environment: Manage, train, and motivate the F&D Operations Team, creating an inclusive environment where all Team Members can thrive and achieve their professional goals. Practice great people management, from recruitment to training to succession planning and recognition. Develop an efficient workforce plan to identify current and future needs based on forecast business volumes, budgets, and HR guidelines. Schedule, along with venues managers/assistant managers, Team Members' working time efficiently, offering flexibility where possible and minimizing overtime costs. Communicate well and often, building great relationships with key stakeholders.
Day-To-Day Essentials: Manage venue operations and in-room dining effectively to give guests an excellent dining culinary and experience throughout their whole stay. Provide guidance and control to venue managers/assistant managers to make sure opening and closing procedures are carried out correctly at each F&B venue, including financial reports and reconciliations. Ensure F&B operations strictly comply with all regulations (including health, safety and hygiene, food safety certification, licensing) and that potentially hazardous situations are identified, reported, and corrected. Organize and manage F&D inventory, stock control, and purchasing, in line with hotel guidelines. Keep up to date with what's happening in F&D – current and future trends, markets, ingredients, competitors, and suppliers – to drive innovation.
We're looking for a manager who is passionate about food and drink, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in international hospitality would be an advantage. To be successful in this position, you will have:

People management skills, experienced in managing, developing, and motivating a large team and working effectively with other departments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver a compelling message for the right audience, from team briefings to commercial business presentations

Effective relationship management skills to build good working relationships with key stakeholders
Adaptability and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused under pressure
Natural affinity for hospitality, positive work ethic and strive for perfection, ambition and creativity, emotional intelligence with curiosity and desire to learn
You will also be fluent in English and comfortable using F&D systems and MS Office.
