Position Summary:

As Director of Operations, you will oversee the hotel's day-to-day performance, ensuring that each Head of Department is empowered to meet and exceed both revenue goals and guest satisfaction targets. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following duties carried out to the highest standards:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure personalized guest experiences where every detail matters.
2. Be the key point of contact for guests, resolving any concerns and ensuring an exceptional level of satisfaction.
3. Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures in line with Conrad standards and values.
4. Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.
5. Collaborate with Finance and Sales & Marketing teams to drive commercial and profitability.
6. Lead, coach, and develop department heads and teams to foster a culture of excellence and engagement.
7. Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality, safety and service consistency.
8. Nurture a culture of teamwork, ownership and refined service throughout the resort.
9. Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
10. Represent Conrad Koh Samui with professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
11. Performs any other tasks assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the General Manager.

What are we looking for?

Hands-on management style with impeccable attention to detail and strong guest centricity skills.

Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

At least 3 years with proven background in luxury hotel operations.

Deep understanding of Forbes and luxury service standards.

Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and manage budgets effectively.
