Director Of Sales

The Signia by Hilton Orlando and Waldorf Astoria Orlando are currently looking for a dynamic Director of Sales to lead their top performing sales team.

As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for:

Strategy:

  • Leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and plans and initiatives
  • Partnering with the Revenue Management team to determine sales pricing strategies
  • Producing the Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan for the Complex
  • Working with Commercial Leadership to ensure that Business Review Guidelines and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place
  • Working with Commercial Leaders to establish optimal business mix and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies
  • Responsible for the execution of the annual Sales SIP (Sales Incentive Program)

Leadership:

  • Leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales Optimization Processes for the Complex
  • Contributing to annual Commercial Cadence communication
  • Responsible for recruiting and retention of all sales roles
  • Leading, engaging, and developing team members

Ownership, Customer, and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Own performance and commercial activity reporting for each of your hotels
  • In concert with AVPs, Regional Commercial Director and General Manager(s), present commercial strategies to key business partners and ownership groups
  • Liaise with Hilton Worldwide Sales, regional support and brand teams
  • High level of engagement with customers from all sales segments
  • Support of team's high-impact site visits and pre-convention meetings
  • Participate in ownership meetings, as needed

To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years Director of Hotel Sales Experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Highly professional presentations and communication skills
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform critical analysis

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Adaptable experience with business strategy, business planning, and business plan development
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Multiple Brand experience
