Job Description
Incumbents in this classification performs the duties of the function and performs first line supervisory field work.
Salary
Hiring Range (annual) $55,099.20 – $58,405.15 *Internal rates may vary based on the selected candidate's current grade.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing a team of three or more personnel or over two years of experience with the Hillsborough County Water Resources Field Service team. Additionally, they will possess at least two years of experience with Oracle's Customer Cloud Service (CCS) or Customer Care and Billing (CCs) systems or over three years of experience in any other mobile workforce management system. This includes knowledge of billing functions and the ability to analyze and resolve billing issues. A minimum of one year of experience completing utility-related field service work orders in the field is also required.
A strong candidate will have extensive knowledge of the subdivisions within the Hillsborough County Utilities service areas and at least one year of experience managing and supporting Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and Neptune 360 within a utility environment. Strong technical proficiency is essential, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and hands-on experience with database systems to support accurate data management, reporting, and communication. They will demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between meter reading and billing operations, as well as the ability to set priorities and allocate resources to maintain customer, meter, and usage data within Oracle's CCS system.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to read, comprehend, and apply job-related rules, policies, and procedures. They will be skilled at providing guidance, training, and motivation to assigned staff while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Additionally, they will be proficient in managing day-to-day tasks for a team of 3 to 10 field staff, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing staff work daily while also working collaboratively alongside the team.
