We are now seeking an experienced professional for the Director of Finance, Services role. In this role, you will be the Finance Business Partner for the Services Division President and provide critical and relevant financial information for decision-making, covering historical, current, and future performance. You will be a member of the Services Division Leadership team and the Hiab Business Control Leadership team, supporting Hiab finance initiatives. The role provides direct line leadership to the Business Controllers in the CSCs, hosted by the Services Division. The position can be located in any of HIAB's main offices.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• To take the lead as the Finance Business Partner in Strategy development and Strategic programme management - supporting the team with market insights and competitor benchmarking
• Supporting in Tactical decisions to improve all areas of the business in the delivery of excellent business results

  • Strong awareness of the commercial and operational opportunities offered by digitalisation
  • Operational effectiveness in all delivery processes

• Taking the lead in driving planning, forecasting and reporting processes to facilitate timely decision making in all areas
• Supporting the Services Division through cross-functional work with CSCs, the Equipment Divisions and the Central Services Team
• Building a strong and collaborative relationship with the Hiab Business Center (HBC) and the Hiab Finance Team to deliver most effective and efficient processes through continuous improvement in the RTR, ITP and OTC delivery towers
• Seeking and delivering efficiencies across the Services Division and ensuring strong control of both ongoing operating costs, working capital and investment initiatives
• Supporting and steering major transformation and systems initiatives to deliver on planned business outcomes
• Maintaining and enhancing the systems & tools to drive automation and high-quality insights
• To support the development of the roadmap for the wider Hiab Finance Team to drive optimal Finance Business Partnership - through the delivery of process automation and data-driven business insight.

What you'll need to succeed

• Academic degree (e.g, MSc in business and economics)
• 10+ years in high-level business controlling role and/or other demanding financial roles
• Similar industry and in a global business environment where there is a high focus on service
• Business control, financial reporting, finance processes and systems
• Strong capability in use of finance tools - e.g. SAP, Qlikview, HFM & Google tools
• Experience in international multi-currency and multi-site businesses
• Executing for results, strong analytical capabilities with pragmatism and operational skills
• Relationship building, strong communication and cooperation skills
• Business acumen, result- and profit-orientation.
