Customer Services Manager, South Korea

The Customer Services Manager, South Korea is responsible for driving Customer Services (CS) and Service Solution sales in the local market, with a strong focus on delivering the best customer experience and building long-term partnerships through complete lifecycle support. This role manages and executes the CS & Service Sales strategy across all divisions in the country, ensuring alignment with market needs while maximizing growth opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for HIAB products' CS & Service Sales in the region
  • Full P&L & net working capital and personnel responsibility
  • Establish and implement Hiab's strategy in CSC/territory, including new business development by identifying opportunities beyond the current product-specific market and expanding revenue streams
  • Follow and enforce HIAB's key KPIs
  • Safe working environment (HSEQ)
  • Optimize and expand the CS dealer network by enhancing efficiency, modernizing structures, and extending coverage to uncovered regions in Korea
  • Analyze market drivers—price, quality, and after-sales service—to develop strategies for market leadership
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop market-driven CS through demand analysis and strategic guidance
  • Customer journey from factory delivery to end customer delivery, through the full life cycle
  • Follow the latest ISO standards. Hiab's Code of Conduct. Delegation of Authority
  • Active succession planning within the Services team.

What you'll need to succeed includes:

  • Preferably relevant academic degree: Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, tech or relevant
  • Several years of experience in senior services, CS and marketing roles (commercial and/or operations experience)
  • Proven ability to drive CS sales, operations and profitability and manage customer and dealer relationships
  • Experience in business development, change projects; M&A experience is beneficial
  • Leadership and coaching experience with a good track record
  • Knowledge of different sales tools, systems and training approaches to drive the new ways of working
  • Experience working in an international corporate environment
  • Experience in the development of business plan/strategy and execution

  • Expertise in sales and business development, driving innovation in sales strategies and business expansion
  • Ability to develop and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term sales, market, and business plans
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven strategies
  • Deep understanding of business KPIs
  • Process improvement and performance management, including target setting, feedback, and follow-up
  • Ability to work effectively in an international business environment within a matrix organization
  • Change management expertise to drive and implement transformation both internally and externally
  • Firm and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Basic financial understanding to drive profitable growth
