Dietary Supervisor

The primary purpose of the Dietary Supervisor is to assist in the planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with the current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Dietary Manager, Clinical Dietitian and/or Dietary Director, to assure that quality food service is provided to patients, staff and visitors.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Three years food experience in a healthcare setting. Managerial experience is helpful but not necessary.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Reading, writing, basic math skills such as addition and subtraction and good communication skills are a must. ServeSafe certification must be attained within 6 months of promotion or placement into position.
