Sutherland Service is located on Hōhepa's main campus and supports four women aged from their early 20s to mid-30s. In this role, you will be providing night-time support, including to one individual who uses a wheelchair and experiences mobility challenges.

The ladies in this service enjoy having structure and routine, and they actively participate in household activities. They all value the company of their Support Workers and flat mates.
You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person focusing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. Nightly tasks include supporting with night routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependent on qualification level, pays between $23.50 and $29.10 per hour.
