Our Mission at HEY HOLY: Elevate the health of dogs through nutrition. Instead of one-size-fits-all, we focus on breed-specific, functional food β developed with veterinarians and aimed at enabling every dog a long, healthy life.
What started as an idea in 2022 is now a strongly growing DTC subscription model with over 20,000 supplied dogs. Our 15-member team is set to grow to over 35 by the end of 2026 β now is the perfect time to join.
Our Claim is No Off-the-Shelf Products: We want to develop nutritional solutions that have real impact, for both dogs and their owners. Products that not only make logical sense but also excite emotionally β and turn first-time buyers into true fans.

Responsibilities
- Together with the founders and based on the company strategy, you will continue to develop our product and assortment strategy and roadmap β from new launches and re-launches to delistings
- You own the development of new products. For this, you conduct market and competition analyses as well as targeted scientific research and create precise briefs and debriefs for the external R&D team
- Based on your understanding of target markets and competition, you develop strong claims for marketing and ensure a consistent implementation as a project manager β on brand and on time for launch
- You keep an eye on the product performance on the relevant KPIs at all times and conduct further analyses in collaboration with other departments if necessary to identify optimization potentials or risks
- You breathe our (breed-specific) target groups and develop into an internal expert for the individual breeds β from the health-specific characteristics of the breeds to a deep understanding of their dog owners
- You are responsible for selective, targeted customer research, ensure a methodologically sound execution and evaluation, and establish formats to effectively share the insights gained (e.g., with Creative Strategy, etc.)
- You regularly screen the market and competition and bring impulses and ideas from adjacent categories, such as the supplement or human food sector, as well as from international markets into product development and marketing
Qualification
- Experience: You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar and bring at least 3 years of experience in product marketing or management, ideally in start-ups or similar dynamic environments with a D2C focus
- Lifecycle Ownership: You have already accompanied products throughout the entire lifecycle β from the idea to the management of product development to positioning, claim development, and successful go-to-market
- Structured, proactive, and implementation-focused: You are very structured, can juggle many balls at once, and successfully bring projects to fruition in a cross-functional setup (with R&D, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
- Performance Meets Customer Centricity: You work analytically, know your performance KPIs, conduct market and target group analyses, and make data-based decisions complemented by qualitative insights and your intuition for target groups and effective marketing
- (Dog)-Customer Obsession: You understand how dog owners tick β what they are like, what they pay attention to, what their pain points are β and develop products, positionings, and claims that are convincing
- Language Skills: You speak fluent German (C1, native) and very good English (at least B2)
