Hexcel is currently seeking an Engineering Co-Op for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Create and develop processes and tools to assist in the fabrication of composite honeycomb details, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication to Hexcel standards with both internal and external suppliers.
• Active member of continuous improvement team to meet the plant's production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with co-workers, supervisors and subordinates and/or outside contacts and customers.
• Perform problem solving and data gathering activities supporting DCR/MRR (Document Change Request/Material Rejection Report) resolution.

Qualifications:

• Field of study: mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Previous experience in fast-paced, competitive engineering and manufacturing environment a plus.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills are required, PC and AutoCAD skills preferred.
• Candidate must have ability to define problems and interpret a variety of technical instructions.
• Must have solid organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
