Job Description:

ACX platform is part of RIS BU, and is responsible for driving technology leadership in the routing, access, and aggregation router developments for next-generation Metro and 5G networks, deployed in some of the world's largest service providers, data centers, enterprise, and metro ethernet networks.

What You'll Do:

• You will be responsible for product development of cutting edge platforms for next gen Access and Aggregation Deployments, Metro, Mobile Backhaul with JunOS or Junos EVO software architecture.
• In addition to the development activity, you are required to work closely with product management, system and solution test teams to ensure products/solutions delivered are of the highest quality.
• You will be required to work closely with Juniper Technical Assistance Team for providing engineering assistance in supporting critical customer escalations for customer deployments.

What You Need To Bring:

• BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field, with a minimum of 14 years of software development experience
• Proficient in C, C++ programming and debugging
• L2 protocols like STP, ERPS, 802.1x, jflow, Sflow,, Layer 2 bridging/switching, LAG, MC-LAG, VPLS
• Experienced in Unix/Linux systems with proficiency in user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, inter-process communication
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in teams
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills
• Internet Protocols: TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6
• Domain Knowledge: Service Provider Technologies, Access and Aggregation Deployments, Metro, Mobile Backhaul.
• Networking Protocols: Hands on knowledge of L2/L3 Protocols, IGMP snooping, MLD snooping, PIM, NG MVPN and EVPN
• Experience with application development on DNX family like Jericho, Jericho2.
