AMS Services Supply Chain Finance Analyst

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as the lead financial analyst for the US inventory holding cost accounts (std revision and excess & obso - ~$20M/yr)
  • Partner with the US logistics team to manage ~$30M of logistics costs tied to US distribution center and US field operations
  • Manage Canada E2E SC and US labor accounts
  • Work with business partners and other SC finance functions to build the forecast, close the books and analyze and explain the results
  • Run monthly calls to review the IHC and logistics forecast
  • Support annual budget construction process for accounts under scope
  • Manage US China tariffs forecasting, cost allocation and reporting processes
  • Drive improvements to increase process efficiency and effectiveness, forecast accuracy and root cause diagnosis
  • Work with cross-functional teams on cost savings or other initiatives involving US IHC or logistics
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and support AMS or WW SC finance initiatives

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Services supply chain experience a plus
  • Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Advanced English Level.
