Nonstop Sales Specialist - Central Eastern Europe

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

The HPE NonStop system provides an advanced, fault-tolerant architecture for mission-critical applications, ensuring 24/7 uptime with no single point of failure. It offers linear scalability, supporting large-scale, real-time transaction processing with built-in data integrity and security. Leveraging a fully integrated stack, NonStop systems enable seamless deployment and management of distributed applications, optimized for high availability and massive workloads.

Key features include a multi-core, shared-nothing design, redundant components, and sophisticated clustering capabilities. The NonStop system also includes a comprehensive software stack up to an integrated SQL database, all developed and maintained as 100% HPE intellectual property. This ensures complete control and optimization without reliance on external operating systems like Windows or Linux.

We are also transitioning to a full solution sales approach, integrating our NonStop systems with partner software and managed services to offer a full SaaS/cloud experience to our customers. In a typical day as a NonStop Sales Specialist for Central Eastern Europe (CEE) you:

  • Are responsible for the development and execution of the NonStop sales strategy and implementation of strategic and tactical programs in CEE countries
  • Manage relationships with customer accounts, and drive solution selling
  • Position HPE NonStop as THE leading mission critical offering
  • Plan, design and build solutions from a technical, economical and business perspective closely working with your technical NonStop experts
  • Take leadership of assigned projects from proposal creation to implementation, including deal negotiations
  • Complete tasks related to the sales planning process and documentation of sales activities
  • Like the challenge to think strategically and touch multiple levels of customer's organization
  • Look beyond the IT departments - think about Line of Business and their desired business outcomes

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Academic degree in technical or commercial field of study
  • 5-10 years of sales experience
  • Account planning and accurate revenue forecasting skills
  • Knowledge around computing systems in manufacturing and finance – the foundation to become an expert in NonStop Solutions
  • Good understanding of the digital transformation, the role of mission critical within area of scientific research and industries and how companies' solutions differently address specific industry challenges
  • Communication, presentation and negotiation competencies
  • Proficiency in English language, any Eastern European language beneficial
