Job Description:

HPE Networking is at the forefront of Network as a Service and next-generation Professional Services. We are building and managing Networks for AI and AI for Networks. In this role, you will extend HPE's lead in this fast-growing, large market. You set the industry benchmark for achieving Business and IT Outcomes through outstanding customer relationships, impeccable technical delivery, and industry-leading service value realization. Acting as trusted partners, we are passionate about delivering efficient and optimized network services for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Acts as a team leader providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and the team decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and develops industry-leading professional services and managed services functions. Prior experience deploying Agentic AI preferred.
  • Represents services on product or solution core teams and provides service requirements into Sales pursuits.
  • Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/solutions to drive business improvements.
  • Collaborates with regions and global peers regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance.
  • Responsible for revenue and margin contribution.
  • Utilizes understanding of customer business requirements to develop business case, validate the solution, and demonstrate services added value.
  • Leads key business initiatives in support of operational or financial improvement.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience required. May have advanced university degree.
  • T2+ years of related work experience, including 8+ years of people management experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of IT and services industry. Knowledge of HPE's organization, policies, service offerings, end-to-end processes, tools, and routes to market is preferred.
  • General technical understanding of products.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Organizational and strategic management skills, including budget and business planning and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences. (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and Spanish, with technical communication skills in Portuguese, is highly desired.
  • Extensive business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience encompassing one or more engineering, technology, and product domains.
  • Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with senior management and executive roles for internal and external partners.

Impact/Scope:

  • Collaborates across functions to deliver multidisciplinary solutions.
  • Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, and VPs and SVPs for internal and external suppliers, partners, and customers.
  • Drives large and complex cross-organizational business initiatives.

  • Leads highly complex multidisciplinary development, support, and improvement activities and organizations.
  • Anticipates operational needs and impact on the business and function or department.
