The RN for international patient services will work to build awareness of the international patient services (Medical Tourism) program, coordinate medical tourist experience with support of the RPO staff, support international projects, serve as a liaison for the international initiatives department, act as liaison to the HFMG departments, staff and physicians, and work with HFHS international staff to assess and grow the program. The RN will also assist with the Medical Tourism processes and workflows, act as a point of reference to the international patients/families and HFHS providers & staff. This RN will be required to do some domestic and international travel. Travel to Canada, the Middle East, India, China, Africa, Latin America and other countries is likely. When traveling locally, the employee will use their own vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement per HFHS policy for mileage/expenses. This position will require candidates to have work flexibility to allow for travel (this may include travel on weekends and holidays).
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field, required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) preferred. Presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
Certifications/Licensures Required:
Current Michigan RN licensure required. Current valid U.S. or Canadian passport required.
