Office Support Representative - Home Health Care - 40 Hours - Days
Henry Ford Home Health Care is a comprehensive network of home health products and services that focuses on the complex needs of patients and caregivers. Available programs include chronic care management, joint replacement care, specialty infusion and transplant care, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, and palliative care to name a few. Henry Ford Home Health Care's services are provided by qualified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, and home health aides.
General Summary:
The Office Support Representative will be responsible to:
- Assists with the accurate and timely entry, access, review and retrieval of information from the electronic medical record.
- Completes assigned tasks to facilitate workflow processes.
Education:
- Requires high school diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree or college coursework in business preferred.
Experience:
- Requires computer proficiency, the ability to accurately type, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Outlook preferred.
- Requires strong organization and problem solving skills, and the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and tasks.
- Previous Home Health experience or office administrative support experience preferred.
