Under the general supervision of the Supervisor for Communication Services performs collective data base administration, HFHS pager acquisition, distribution, billing, and maintenance, and customer orientation for communication equipment and services provided.

Administers and maintains data bases for: American Messaging System pagers, People Alert Messaging System pagers, IntelliDesk and IntelliSpeech Integrated Operator System, Henry Website Directory, HFHS Printed Directory, On-Call Scheduling, Answering Service Protocols, Emergency Notification, Call Accounting, and Spectralink wireless distribution.

Performs HFHS pager acquisition, programming, distribution, routine diagnostics, and customer in-service training.

Reviews, reconciles and processes pager invoices for payment.

Performs acquisition of Spectralink wireless telephones and programming for text messaging.

Performs programming of Nextel Blackberry cellular telephones to receive pages.

Prepares monthly department performance reports for Department management and special reports on demand from ancillary departments.

Coordinates the development, printing, and distribution of the HFHS printed directory.

Performs On-Call Schedule in-service for ancillary department personnel.

Handles special projects in addition to regular duties, i.e. payroll, work schedules, and various office functions as required.

Education/Experience Required:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

One year of college course work in business or communications preferred.

One to two years of associated work experience.

Computer literate
