Implement and manage investment projects safely, on time, and within budget – in line with the Henkel Project Management Framework.
Manage all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects within the European region.
Drive all project phases – from feasibility studies and concept development to implementation, commissioning, and start-up, up to handover and project completion including lessons learned.
Identify, assess, and minimize project risks and resolve or escalate challenges as appropriate.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Work closely with internal experts and technology specialists to realize best-in-class solutions.
Promote the continuous exchange of best practices between locations and the regional engineering organization to strengthen sustainability competencies.
Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of sustainability practices across all locations.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in CAPEX investment projects in an industrial environment, with strong project management skills including experience with relevant tools and methodologies.
High motivation, independence, and flexibility in a dynamic international environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels and functions.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and CAD applications.
Fluent German and English in speech and writing.
Willingness to travel across Europe up to 30% depending on project deployment.
