Group Account Manager

Our culture is built on collaboration, ownership, and a passion for excellence. We are seeking an experienced Group Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. This position is key in driving growth and strengthening strategic relationships with our retailers. The Group Account Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 3 Key Account Managers, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring deep FMCG knowledge, a strong commercial mindset, and a track record of driving growth across multiple key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts, negotiates and secures key account contracts
  • Leads, coaches, and develops the Key Account Team (3 Key Account Managers) to ensure high performance and growth
  • Analyzes financial KPIs and proactively steers key account business to achieve targets
  • Identifies growth opportunities and drives commercial initiatives across key accounts
  • Delivers the sales plan and manages the project pipeline to ensure consistent business development
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver customer excellence
  • Monitors market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensures accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for assigned account

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential for effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally within the FMCG industry
  • Holds a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities to guide and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial KPIs and steer account performance
