Responsible for the implementation of manufacturing product & processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, & cost standards. Manufacturing Engineers work closely with design engineering & other operation support team members to smoothly launch new parts into manufacturing production. Manufacturing Engineers implement new part standards through completing APQP elements, designing tooling & fixturing, & conducting 3P event pilot runs. Manufacturing engineers are to make decisions based on the priority of safety first, quality second, delivery third, & cost/continuous improvement fourth.
