We are looking for an intellectually curious Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about code, high performance and cares about quality. You will work with knowledgeable and experienced developers with a large scale of skills and capabilities who are passionate about developing an innovative product which makes an impact.
As a Backend Engineer at Hello Heart, you will join a small team of experienced and highly talented engineers, and help us build great services for a product that actually saves lives by taking lead, work with a variety of technologies and projects.
You will work on the core of our infrastructure and backend services, where large volumes of medical data and end-user behavior are processed and built into efficient services that can scale as fast as we do. Focusing on mission critical services that are responsible for handling the business and revenue operations with complex behavior and external integrations supporting evolving business needs and new initiatives.
Our tech-stack: Scala, Javascript + Typescript, Kafka, Kafka Streams, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Nginx, Docker, Jenkins, ELK, Prometheus and more!
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of production experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Programming experience with at least one of the languages: Scala/Java/Python/NodeJS.
- Hands-on experience with relational and document based databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience working with distributed systems based on events streaming (Rabbit, Kafka, etc.) - advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools - advantage.
- Experience with ReactJS- advantage.
- Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies.
- BSc in computer science or equivalent experience.
