Customer Service Specialist

As a customer service specialist, you will be the interface between our customers, sales, and the operational handling in land transport. You will promote customer loyalty by accepting transport orders, being available for questions, and offering tailored solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independent processing of incoming customer and partner inquiries as well as complaints, including the care of large customers
  • Handling of service inquiries in direct contact with our national and international partner companies
  • Close exchange with other internal departments (Warehouse/Disposition/Billing/Claims Processing/Sales)
  • Conducting proactive duration controls and status messages
  • Processing of differences, excesses, and damage reports
  • Organization of cross traffic, detours, and special trips

Qualifications

  • Completed training as a commercial clerk for freight forwarding and logistics services (m/f/d) or equivalent
  • Professional experience in the logistics sector, preferably in the road freight and customer service sector
  • Prior experience in the field of claims management and/or sea freight
  • Strong service orientation and communication skills
  • High level of teamwork
  • Independent and structured working style
  • Good English skills and good knowledge of MS Office
