✨ About The Role
- Design, test, and operate experimental high-power, high voltage pulsed DC systems up to 40kV to enable the development of the most powerful pulsed-fusion device
- Contribute to the development and commissioning of high voltage electrical power systems for driving pulsed magnetic coils
- Prepare experimental test plans and procedures, maintain experimental facilities, and develop technical specifications to comply with project requirements
- Work with control systems, LabView-based control systems, and PXIe-NI chassis-based systems to solve data collection problems in a high EMI environment
- Collaborate with the Test Operations team to bring the first machine to demonstrate electricity from fusion online, contributing to the mission of building the world's first fusion power plant
