Sustaining Process Engineer
VPT, Inc., a global leader in providing power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, space and industrial applications, has an immediate opening for a full-time Sustaining Process Engineer at our Blacksburg, VA headquarters reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Solve process and material related problems to increase quality, yield, and throughput
- Improve or introduce new processes and materials for existing products
- Design and manage experiments (DOEs) to validate improvements
- Create and edit procedures and other production documentation
- Travel (international and domestic) to production facilities to evaluate process and materials
Because of the nature of this position a US person is required
