Customer Service Assistant

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and helping customers in transporting and unloading groceries to their vehicles. Additionally, you will assist customers in locating merchandise, gather baskets, and pick up trash inside and outside the Store. You will also maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, stock and stage bags, and stock check stand supplies. You will distribute Buddy bucks to registers, replace anti-fatigue mats, do carts and parts basket relocation, and perform power-washing basket relocation for department setup. You will also perform red basket fill up/retrieval and clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain Store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers and stay attentive to their needs, and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards. Education requirements include completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training upon hire. Physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced, retail environment, working with customers, reaching at various heights, standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. Occasional exposure to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions is also required. The ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is necessary. It is the responsibility of the employee to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit and to break down or ask for assistance if an item is too heavy.
