Senior Test Engineer

Kia ora! We're on the lookout for a Senior Test Engineer to join our team on an 18-month fixed term contract, supporting our exciting Digital Transformation Programme of Work. Here's what you need to know: Is this your next role? You'll take ownership of the test strategy and lead testing activities for the Digital Transformation Programme by ensuring new systems, integrations, and customer-facing solutions are delivered to the highest standard. This role blends leadership with hands-on testing, including designing and executing test cases, automation, and validating Pega workflows. You'll also help introduce modern automation and AI-enabled testing practices to accelerate delivery and enhance programme outcomes. Does this sound like you? You're a high-performing test professional with a strong mix of strategic leadership and hands-on expertise. Your critical thinking and attention to detail are second to none. You thrive in ambiguity and move with pace. With strong communication skills, you're a pro:

• Crafting test strategies and directly testing complex systems
• Test automation using tools like Selenium, PyCharm, and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Working with AI-enabled testing platforms is desirable
• Experience in case management, workflows, rules and integrations
• Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on test execution
• Managing defects, identifying risks, and solving problems effectively
• Engaging stakeholders across technical, vendor, and business teams
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries is a bonus
• Experience in Pega Platform is a bonus
