$27.39 to $33.41 per hour plus superannuation

About the Opportunity
Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pot Washer / Steward to join our Food Services team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our kitchen operation. You will be responsible for keeping our equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and ready for service at all times. Your Shifts
You must be available to work across a 7-day rotating roster:
PM: 2:30pm to 10:00pm
Your Responsibilities
Pot washing and cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware to food safety standards
Maintaining cleanliness of the dishwash and back-of-house areas throughout each shift
Ensuring equipment is cleaned, sanitised, and ready for use at all times
Assisting the kitchen team with general cleaning tasks as directed
Following all food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with hospital standards
Supporting a smooth kitchen operation by working efficiently and communicating well with team members
What You'll Bring
The right to work in Australia
Experience in a hotel, hospital, or commercial kitchen environment (preferred)
A strong work ethic and high personal standards for cleanliness and hygiene
The ability to work at pace and keep up with the demands of a busy kitchen
A positive, team-focused attitude
Availability for on-call shifts as required
A current Working with Children Check (where applicable)
