Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Environmental Services Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast-paced and varied environment.

Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport. With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high standard of cleaning services
• Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in Healthcare/hotel cleaning (desirable)
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Commitment to service excellence
• Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
• Strong communication and customer skills
• Attention to detail
• Work well independently and within a team
• Available for on call shifts
