Reporting to the Director of the Wellness Institute, the Manager of Clinical Services – Wellness Institute manages and oversees the development and operations of all clinical services within the Wellness Institute. This includes both fee for service and funded programming in prevention and rehabilitation, chronic disease management and fitness programs. Is responsible for business development and marketing of these service areas, financial management and operational budgets of associated cost centers, recruitment, training and supervision of staff as well engagement in ongoing research programs.
5 years of progressive leadership, management and business development experience in a private and/or publicly funded organization including:
Physiotherapy professional degree (BMR-PT or MPT).
Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
Demonstrated mid-to-senior leadership capabilities: The provincial health system has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.
Clinical practice management software skills and knowledge such as Practice Perfect.
Must be able to work safely in a computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10kg.
Interruptions to respond to questions are common – must be able to schedule dedicated and focused time for planning and concentrating.
Must have a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of personal motor vehicle for travel within the province.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
