Human Resources Representative

In the role of Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:

  • Provide support for the completion of Human Resources duties and responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and drafting and sending emails and notices within and outside of Human Resources
  • Provide support with the compilation and analysis of a variety of Human Resources information and data
  • Assist with answering employee requests and questions relative to standard policies, procedures, benefits, hiring, etc.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation schedule, perform onboarding, assist with the completion of new hire paperwork and verify I-9 documentation as needed
  • Assist with offboarding and processing of terminations
  • Make photocopies, send documents and perform other administrative functions
  • Assists with the preparation of the annual performance review process
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to enter/post job postings for our area in our applicant tracking system
  • Assist corporate recruiters with scheduling interviews and reviewing resumes
  • Take ownership of our area internship program
  • Schedule and facilitate career fairs for our area
  • Back up HR as needed
  • Assist with running reports
  • Assist with special projects
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Must be able to travel to area offices within Illinois and Indiana when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • Previous experience in HR
  • Experience in recruiting

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
  • Basic understanding of business activities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) $48,290.00 - $68,985.00
