HR Business Partner – IT

As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you'll shape and deliver people strategies that attract, retain, and develop top IT talent. You'll provide expert advice across the full HR remit — from organizational design and employee engagement to talent management and succession planning — all while ensuring our people strategies align with business goals.
Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, the HRBP will partner stakeholders within our expanding IT division, providing strategic and commercially viable advice. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the IT sector, enabling you to shape and deliver the people strategy which attracts and retains top IT talent, while driving business performance by coaching and developing managers, and ensuring alignment with the wider HR strategy and business goals.
Principle Duties
- Work with the Director of HR operations to implement and develop the HR strategy in key areas relating to people management and organizational development.
- Partner with the IT management team in the delivery of key HR objectives, business relating growth projects, service realignments, promotion, local HR and corporate initiatives.
- Support the leadership team in promoting a culture of performance and clinical excellence.
- Partner and support the facility teams on change programs including departmental reorganizations and restructures.
- Coach and support the management team enabling them to anticipate and pre-empt organizational and people challenges.
- Provide expert HR and employee relations advice and guidance to the facility on a variety of cases ranging in complexity; working closely with Legal to mitigate risk where necessary.
- Report and analyze HR metric data and monthly reports as required to ensure the management team acts on key people KPIs.
Skills and experience
- CIPD Qualified ideally to a level 5, ideally level 7 or working toward
- Considerable experience at HR Advisor level, advising all staffing levels, up to including board level, in a large commercial business environment.
- Prior experience of working with the IT/Tech industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to act at an operational and strategic thinking level, presenting to senior management teams.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting HR projects and of business partnering senior teams in a fast paced environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of advising and coaching senior managers on a range of ER issues.
