Provides administrative support to management as needed. Works with department and referring physicians, their staff, patient families, health care team members and outside facilities to ensure services are coordinated and provided appropriately to the patient. Provides financial assistance to patients in identifying resources to cover anticipated clinic and Medical Center charges not covered by health plan, insurance, or other sources. Provides work leadership and technical guidance to staff to enhance operational efficiency.

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform 7,200 adjusted keystrokes per hour. Two (2) years in admitting, business services, scheduling or related area, preferably in a comparable acute care facility. Demonstrated knowledge of patient registration, admitting, third party payor and/or scheduling. Knowledge of ICD-10 & CPT coding and medical terminology. Prior supervisory experience and/or demonstrated knowledge and background to lead staff. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
