The Role

Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program.

Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026.

Location: This position is fully remote/work from home in the continental US.

Work Authorization: US work authorization required for this role. Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

The Main Responsibilities

The Construction/Deployment Support Intern will join a dynamic team, working closely with regional directors and team leads. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the construction industry, focusing on project-based work such as data tracking, change order management, project scheduling, and fiber installation projects. Interns will gain valuable experience in both administrative and coordination tasks, supporting the smooth and efficient execution of construction and deployment projects.

  • Assist team leads with documentation and administrative support.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables from partners.
  • Review and manage change orders by partner and site/program.
  • Support IOA work in existing areas and new cable installations.
  • Collaborate on new installs with Microsoft and other partners.
  • Contribute to data tracking and change order tracking initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project progress.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required qualifications:

  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
  • Graduating August 2026 – May 2028.
  • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Business, Engineering or related field.

Proficiency and understanding of:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools and applications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and prioritization.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range: Min: $26/hour Max: $38/hour.
