Healthcare Claims Network Management - $27/hr +

Job Opportunity in Honolulu

We're seeking a highly communicative and detail-oriented professional to support a critical initiative involving physician and facility claims. This role bridges claims processing, provider relations, and network management, ensuring accurate reimbursement practices and smooth provider transitions. Serve as the primary liaison between health insurance and healthcare providers to explain changes in reimbursement practices. Work type: Position starts fully in-person in Honolulu and will transition into a hybrid role. Pay: $27/hr+, weekly pay

Key Responsibilities

• Claims Oversight & Processing
• Manage and review physician and facility claims, ensuring appropriate reimbursement.
• Coordinate with vendors to avoid duplicate payments for facility claims already reimbursed.
• Provider Communication & Support
• Serve as the primary liaison with providers (especially hospitals) to explain changes in reimbursement practices.
• Deliver sensitive messages tactfully and gather provider feedback.
• Provide in-person support as needed—must have reliable transportation
• Implementation & Coordination
• Work closely with internal teams and providers before, during, and after implementation.
• Track and report provider concerns and implementation progress to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure end-to-end communication and follow-through on all issues.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills—diplomatic, empathetic, and clear.
• Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset.
• Experience with claims processing, editing, or related research.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex workflows.
• Experience in healthcare or working directly with healthcare providers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
