Responsibilities include being an initial and final point of contact representing the brand and image of The Queen's Medical Center - Manamana and The Queen's Health System (QHS) using the CARE values and AIDET methodologies. The role involves maintaining a welcoming lobby experience with a priority focused on safety, service excellence, and attention to detail. The Guest Services Representative provides patients and visitors with general information, escorting and wayfinding support, and assistance with patient/visitor complaints, problems, or special needs. Typical physical demands include sitting, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling a patient in a wheelchair, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, twisting the body, reaching above, at, or below shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motion, and frequent gripping of an object. Typical working conditions are not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and prior customer service experience in a hospital or hospitality setting preferred.
