Job Position at Brudda's Brew House

Summary: This position will be assigned to Brudda's Brew House on Bellows Air Force Station, Waimanalo, HI. Responsibilities include preparing a wide variety of hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, expresso, hot chocolate, etc. by selecting proper ingredients. The role also involves serving cold beverages and food items, such as soda, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries, etc. Additionally, the position requires receiving payment, operating the cash register, making and returning change to patrons, setting up the work area for operations, and obtaining the cash bank. The role also includes maintaining a neat and clean work area, setting up and cleaning tables for customers, replenishing condiment items as necessary, setting up and operating dishwashers, performing preventive maintenance and cleaning, scraping, soaking, scouring glassware, dishes, and utensils as required, and performing heavy duty cleaning tasks such as cleaning coffee machines, ceilings, under and behind equipment, refrigerators, washing floors and walls, and sanitizing garbage cans. The position may involve unloading stock from delivery trucks, collecting and transferring trash from the work area to the disposal area, and preparing documentation for cash funds accountability. The role requires following basic cappuccino requirements for each type of drink, assisting with inventories, identifying items for re-ordering, frequently lifting or moving objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must be able to follow simple written and oral instructions, use cooking tools and operate simple kitchen appliances or machines, perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequencing tasks, handle cash, credit card, and/or check payment, pass a food handlers test, frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds, work an uncommon tour of duty, read, speak, and understand English clearly, follow recipe cards, measure correct proportions and mixes as directed, and have customer service experience. Education substitution is not allowed for this position.
