Full-Time Clinical Managerial Assistant

Molokai General Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Clinical Managerial Assistant to work in our Physical Therapy Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing managerial clerical and clinical duties in accordance with prescribed procedures of Physical Therapy. Performs managerial clerical and clinical duties in accordance with prescribed procedures of Physical Therapy. Essential: Seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting, finger dexterity, lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying items. Continuous: Seeing, hearing, standing, walking, stooping/bending, twisting body, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, and frequent gripping of objects. Operates computer, printer, copier, telephone, fax and clinical equipment. Both inside and outside environmental conditions; noise and/or vibration; hazardous physical conditions; and atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or skin.

High School diploma or the equivalent. BLS/HCP level certification Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Ability to type 40 wpm. One (1) year office experience including answering telephones, typing, operating office machines with accuracy, and contact with the public. One (1) year in Physical Therapy setting preferred. Two (2) years direct patient care experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding preferred. Ability to keep clear and concise records. Experience in data collection and input. Ability to meet and communicate effectively with people, including establishing and sustaining positive relationships.
