Property Services Administrator

Location: Bexhill Office, Conquest House

Hours: 8am-4pm Monday -Friday

Fixed Term Contract: 4-5 Months

Role Overview

The Property Services Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Property Services team at Hastings Direct's Bexhill office. The position involves a combination of administrative support, logistics coordination, and workspace management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing deliveries and inventory, and ensuring workspaces are functional and compliant with health and safety standards.

Job Details – You'll Need To Have Demonstrable Experience In:

  • Coordinate warehouse deliveries and maintain accurate inventory and delivery records.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including courier arrangements and internal distribution.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and support departmental reporting and documentation.
  • Oversee workspace upkeep, ensuring collaboration areas are functional and compliant.
  • Edit and update Property Services intranet content and assist with event coordination.
  • Provide cross-cover during absences and support emergency response and business continuity.

Transferable Essential Skills We Would Love You To Have:

  • MS Office Proficiency – confident use of Excel, Word, and Outlook for documents, spreadsheets, and communications.
  • Organisational Skills – able to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and prioritise workload.
  • Communication Skills – clear written and verbal communication; builds strong internal and external relationships.
  • Logistics & Inventory – experienced in coordinating deliveries, tracking inventory, and supporting warehouse operations.
  • Administrative & Systems Knowledge – skilled in filing, report preparation, and intranet updates; familiar with internal systems.
  • Adaptability & Team Support – flexible in covering absences, learning new systems, and supporting emergency response, with a proactive, can-do attitude
