Director of International Wholesale

Harrods is looking for a Director of International Wholesale to lead the expansion of Harrods Own Label into global markets, creating a highly curated wholesale proposition and building meaningful partnerships to strengthen and grow our brand internationally. This is a unique opportunity to shape a newly created role with significant impact on the next chapter of Harrods' growth story.

About the Role

As Director of International Wholesale, you will be responsible for building and delivering our international wholesale strategy, identifying target markets, and driving commercial success for Harrods Own Label. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will collaborate with colleagues across Strategy, Buying, Merchandising and Product Development to design market-specific ranges, oversee pricing, and ensure operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a global wholesale strategy that aligns with Harrods' brand ambition.
  • Build strong in-market partnerships with retailers and distributors.
  • Oversee pricing, seasonal planning, sales forecasting and product development.
  • Represent Harrods internationally through showrooms, trade events and strategic meetings.
  • Identify new opportunities, tailoring approaches to maximise performance by region.
  • Recruit and lead a team with the skills and experience to deliver against strategic goals.

This role is based in our iconic Knightsbridge location, although will of course travel frequently.

About You

You will be a strategic, commercially minded leader with a track record of developing international wholesale markets and expanding brand distribution successfully. With excellent negotiation skills and cultural awareness, you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are confident representing a brand on the global stage.

You will also bring:

  • Proven experience of developing go-to-market strategies for premium or luxury brands.
  • Deep knowledge of international markets and wholesale distribution channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a matrix structure.
  • A leadership style that inspires and develops high-performing teams.
