Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Performance Tester / Performance Test Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing processes, tools, and analysis techniques, and will be capable of leading performance testing initiatives across complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end performance testing lifecycle: strategy, scripting, workload modeling, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Gather and analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including production statistics, growth models, and infrastructure needs.
- Provide detailed performance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or WebLOAD.
- Monitor and interpret performance metrics across web, application, and database servers.
- Use performance monitoring tools to track system behavior and identify issues.
- Document and present performance test results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Expertise in at least one performance testing tool (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, WebLOAD).
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and interpreting system metrics.
- Ability to analyze performance data and identify bottlenecks across different layers.
- Familiarity with web, application, and database server parameters.
- Proven ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on new projects.

- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
- Open to challenges and adaptable to changing environments.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
- Experience in retail/e-commerce applications is a strong plus.
