Marketing Communications Lead - Luxury Audio

About the Role:

This position is within HARMAN's EMEA Lifestyle HMM Division, based in the UK. The Marcom Lead is responsible for the EMEA marketing communication strategy & programs for the whole Luxury audio category.

Together with the (Sr.) Product Marketing Manager, you will create all the strategic marketing communication landscape for all new product introductions and as well gives the communication direction for all the brands in the Luxury category (in collaboration with the Sales Director Luxury Audio). The Marcom Lead plans and executes a wide range of marketing tools based on the yearly marketing and business plan.

You will work closely with the Global Luxury Audio BU and local Marketing/Sales Managers to understand the regional and local business and marketing objectives for the category in order to translate this into integrated communication launch plans, marketing communication plans and tools to drive sales and brand building activities. He or She has to work in very closely with other departments and (internal) stakeholders, such as; the Global Creative team, as well as the PR-, Online- and Retail managers.

What You Will Do:

  • Supports the trade marketing manager in briefing for new display solutions and providing the artwork and graphic assets needed for POS for Luxury Audio.
  • Own and manage the marketing communication plan to launch NPI's in the most effective way for Luxury Audio EMEA.
  • Product Marketing: Has a clear understanding of the business parameters like pricing and distribution strategy to support with right communication approach and tools for all Luxury Audio brands.
  • Develops the Luxury Audio communication strategy sometimes in partnership with external agencies for all market segments and product/category groups.
  • Improve relevant work processes (for example the streamlining of marketing communication material development, regular benchmarking etc.).
  • Localization of creative assets. The Marcom Lead drives the list of assets needed for launch in EMEA.
  • Organizes Luxury Audio trade shows and represents Harman during events.
  • Website management.
  • Budget management.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Business Administration or Marketing Degree.
  • At least 5 years of marketing (communication) experience in an international environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a commercial environment, representing the marketing function.
  • Fluency in English.
