About The Role

The role is assigned to support competency build up for specific technology domain. This role is also responsible for new technology study and deployment on NPI project. Besides innovations, this role is also expected to complete software high level design, low level design, and implementation for NPI projects. During project development stage this role will lead and coach junior teammates to deliver product software.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test and maintain embedded software for Bluetooth headphone or wearable products.
• Implement, maintain and document software functionality.
• Work closely with cross functional team such as EE, acoustic, quality, product verification through product development cycle.
• Perform detail design to have a quality solution under project constraints.
• Manage overall program including time, resource and quality
• Provide tech support to OEM supplier and manage software development schedule and quality.
• Technical sharing with other team members.

What You Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor or above majored in EE/CS.
• More than 5 years of software development experience
• Experience on Bluetooth firmware development on consumer audio products. Familiar with main stream Bluetooth solutions (BES/Airoha/Action/Wuqi).
• Experience on sensor algorithm development for sport and/or fitness application.
• Hands on experience with RTOS based software development (FreeRTOS, rtx, etc.) is a plus.
• Skillful of C/C++.
• Knowledge and experience of hardware driver and hardware bring up.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Familiar with Software development process, version control tool, and have process oriented mindset.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience on sensor algorithm for head tracking, in-door locating, distance measurements, body and/or gesture detection, biological information detection.
• Domain knowledge on machine learning and edge AI (for sensor application)
• Open Minded and willing to work outside the box
• Strong learning capability and interest on new technologies.
• Honest and understands the value in reporting both good and bad news
• Target and schedule driven
• Able to work with aggressive goals on multiple programs
• Self-Motivated to be the best he/she can be
